London Estate Agents Paramount Properties are looking forward to the best ever months sale figures ie where contracts have actually been exchanged.
The market turned in April and the summer months have resulted in more and more buyers coming into the market, including many cash and first time buyers.
"Buyers have realised that the West Hampstead properties have probably bottomed out, with asking prices down by about 15% since the peak in July 2007." said Mr Robert Lazarus, Paramounts Residential Sales Director.
"Our secondary areas, such as Willesden, Brondesbury and Cricklewood have dropped by about 20%. New mortgage products are being released weekly, and now that it is possible to get a 90%mortgage again,first time buyers are back in force"
